In Y5/6, we researched and experimented with many different aspects of science such as food chains, family trees, technology connections, human actions/climate change and the human body.

The children were also challenged to create their own posters and there were lots of imaginative and excellent ideas on show.

We had a visit from Fizz Pop, where some children volunteered to be part of a chemical reaction experiment! We also had a visit from Severn Trent, who discussed the importance of water usage and efficiency.

Finally, in science lessons, children learnt about gravity and air resistance; they made parachutes using bin bags, string and attached eggs to them!
