We took part in some interesting investigations this week in Key Stage 1.  We made sand timers by placing sand into cups.   We kept altering the amount of sand in our timers until we were satisfied that it took one minute to drain.  We had iPads to check our sand timers.  We also took part in some investigations to see how many things we could do in one minute.  That was fun!  We made shadow puppet theatres and explored how light made the shadow puppets 'come alive'. The children took part in a poster competition and each class had a winner and two runners-up chosen for a prize.
