Growing and Learning in Key Stage 1

We have planted some hyacinth bulbs and are looking forward to watching them grow.

This half term, our Key Stage 1 children are diving into an exciting new topic: plants. To bring their learning to life, the children have planted  hyacinth bulbs and will be caring for them over the coming weeks.

As the bulbs begin to sprout and grow, the children will observe the changes they see and record their findings. This hands-on experience helps them understand what plants need to thrive and encourages curiosity about the natural world.

We’re looking forward to watching our young gardeners learn and discover as their hyacinths grow. Our classrooms are going to smell gorgeous!
