In line with Key Stages 1 and 2, the foundation stage runs a 2-year cycle of topics and texts. As all the children in the Foundation Unit are following this cycle, we feel that we are immersing all children in the learning that is taking place and also allowing for free-flow between F1 and F2 to be more inclusive and progressive.
