Our annual Faith Week provides children with opportunities to explore and learn about different faiths, beliefs and cultures from around the world. Through a programme of assemblies, workshops, visitors and classroom activities, pupils gain a deeper understanding of how faith and belief influence people's lives and communities.

Children have opportunities to ask questions, learn directly from visitors and engage in meaningful discussions about respect, diversity and shared values. Faith Week helps pupils develop empathy, challenge stereotypes and appreciate the richness of the multicultural society in which we live, supporting our commitment to inclusion and preparing children for life in modern Britain.

Outdoor Week is a highlight of the school year, giving children the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom through a range of practical and adventurous experiences. Throughout the week, pupils take part in activities that promote teamwork, problem-solving, resilience and independence while making the most of our outdoor spaces and local environment.

Activities may include outdoor learning challenges, environmental projects, forest school experiences, team-building tasks and opportunities to develop practical skills. Outdoor Week encourages children to embrace new experiences, build confidence and develop a greater appreciation of the natural world while supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Our annual Science Week is a celebration of curiosity, investigation and discovery. Throughout the week, children take part in a wide range of hands-on activities designed to develop their scientific knowledge, enquiry skills and understanding of the world around them.

The week is often launched with an exciting whole-school visit from Fizz Pop Science, whose interactive demonstrations and experiments inspire awe, wonder and enthusiasm for scientific learning. Children also take part in practical investigations, STEM challenges, workshops and special projects that encourage them to think critically, ask questions and test their ideas.

Where possible, we invite visitors from scientific and technical professions to share their experiences and discuss the many career opportunities available within science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through these experiences, children gain a deeper appreciation of how science influences everyday life and are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning, exploration and discovery.
